Aaron Rodgers Cryptic Instagram Post has fans Questioning his NFL Future

The sports world was taken by storm the night of February 21st, 2022 when Aaron Rodgers randomly posted to Instagram a series of ten photos that represented “all he had to be grateful for“… or so he wanted us to believe. When this Instagram post went live, it caused many overreactions to occur, and to many… these “overreactions” aren’t overreactions at all, they view this as Aaron Rodgers getting his thank-yous out of the way now knowing he is about to make a massive change in his career.

Throughout the past few years, Aaron Rodgers and retired Colts punter Pat McAfee have become very good friends and as a matter of fact, Rodgers joins in on Pat’s daily radio show every Tuesday to talk about life, along with whatever is going on with Rodgers in the world of football. With Rodgers’s cryptic Instagram post coming on a Monday night, the timing couldn’t have been better for him to share what the message was actually about. On Tuesday’s episode of “The Pat McAfee Show“, Rodgers came forth with what the post was truly about. Claiming the post needed to be taken no farther than what the face value of it was, Rodgers said the post was purely about everything he had to be grateful for… nothing more, nothing less. To many NFL fans though, this was nothing but a bluff and an attempt to get fans to calm down about what Rodgers had posted.

“It signified nothing more than the personal reflection from an individual looking back at the last 12 months of life, and specifically who had an impact on my life over the last year.”

Aaron Rodgers

Throughout the past couple of seasons, it’s been quite clear that Aaron Rodgers has had nothing but a shaky relationship with the entire Packers organization, give or take a few individuals. After yet another disappointing end to the season as the number one seen in the NFC, many NFL fans are now starting to realize it’s time for Rodgers to either retire or get out of Green Bay. While Rodgers wants this post to be taken as nothing more than what the face value of the post says it is, there is no question that it was meant to represent something more, the only question is “what is that message”? Something is going to be coming from Rodgers, and it’s going to be news that is going to shock the entire sports world. Is Rodgers going to make Bronco fans’ dreams come true and come play in the Mile High City? Is he going to carry on Big Ben’s legacy in Pittsburgh? Is there a chance he goes back to his home state and suits up for the 49ers? Will he shock everyone and stay with the Packers, or just retire from the NFL altogether? Only Rodgers knows exactly what the future is holding for him and where he wants to be playing football in the upcoming seasons. One is for certain though; there was more to that post than what Rodgers wants fans to believe, and it’s only a matter of time before we find out if it was an early thank-you or it was truly about gratitude just like he had said.
